Croom, Bulldogs preparing for tough time against Crimson Tide

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Like most college football fans, Mississippi State coach Sylvester Croom was in front of the television Saturday watching Alabama play LSU.
He came away impressed by the play of his alma mater in its 41-34 loss to the No. 2 Tigers and even more convinced his Bulldogs are facing a stellar opponent Saturday in Starkville.
