Alabama looks to speed it up in 2008 PDF Print E-mail

Taking a look at the 2008 recruiting class list, there’s one thing that stands out: Speed. The team got five athletes who can play numerous positions, each with 40 times of 4.5 or lower. Alabama recruited for a swift class. With this new speed infused into the team, Alabama should be able to catch up with rivals such as Louisiana State, Georgia and Auburn - all of whom beat Alabama in 2007.

With a very sturdy and deep class, fans of the Tide shouldn’t worry for this fall. On Aug. 30, Alabama plays their first game, and face their first big test of the 2008 season playing at Clemson. But if a win at Clemson occurs, LSU should watch out. The Southeastern Conference West division will be bigger and better then ever.
