Senior Bowl Announces 13th Straight Sellout PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 25 January 2007

MOBILE, Ala.

The 58th annual Under Armour Senior Bowl, set for January 27, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium, is a complete sellout.

Game officials announced on Friday evening that all 40,646 tickets for the annual talent showcase had been sold, marking the game’s 13th consecutive sellout. The last ticket sold at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Friday’s sellout, coming eight days before the game, also marked the earliest sellout for the contest since 2002.

“We’re very appreciative of the outstanding support we received from fans throughout the Gulf Coast, and it is especially significant to be sold out prior to Senior Bowl Week,” said Senior Bowl Sales and Community Development Director Sonya Rayburn. “When you combine the many special activities that we are having in conjunction with the game, along with the nation’s top senior NFL draft prospects and NFL coaching staffs, it should make for a very memorable 58th annual Under Armour Senior Bowl.”

For fans those who did not acquire tickets, the game will be nationally-televised live by the NFL Network. The NFL Network will also televised 14 hours of Senior Bowl practice coverage from Ladd-Peebles Stadium throughout Senior Bowl Week.
