If you were listening to ESPN radio today, you heard Scott Van Pelt and Kirk Herbstreit talking about ESPN Gameday likely visiting Atlanta for the season opener between Alabama and Clemson August 30 in the Georgia Dome.

Win, win, situation for Saban (and Alabama) who is looking for more exposure for recruiting the Georgia and Atlanta areas.

Hopefully, the Gameday curse won't show up since it's not a T-town game.

Stupid, stupid, stupid was my first reaction to the Johns situation. I wondered how he could throw away not only his football career, but also his education. Being an out-of-state student, I’m guessing the cost of his scholarship over four years is from $75,000 to $100,000.
