Defensive end Wallace Gilberry has agreed to terms for a free-agent contract with the New York Giants, his agent Ed Rowan just told me. The specifics have not yet been worked out yet with the Super Bowl champions.

DJ Hall signs as free agent with Giants

University of Alabama receiver DJ Hall said this afternoon he has agreed to join teammate Wallace Gilberry as a free-agent signee with the New York Giants. Hall was also considering an offer from the Detroit Lions.

Florida recruit fumbles BCS Championship trophy

Tampa Plant High School tight end Orson Charles had a fumble this weekend that he is not going to forget any time soon.

According to the Tampa Tribune, Charles broke the BCS national championship trophy when he butt-bumped the Waterford crystal trophy off its pedestal outside Urban Meyer's makeshift office.
